Antique Japan Buddhist wise monk sculpture Kibori hard wood carving 1800

Very nice Japanese single block hard wood sculpture i emaciated wise monk, hard Shitan wood single wood block sculpture, nice patina and expressive character. Good conditions, some wear from exposure and time, superficial wood expansion lines, well preserved with protective wood  box.

Period: 1800 - 1880 Edo - Meiji era

Dimensions: H 17 W 30 cm, total weight 0.590 Kg + wrapping
