Japan antique Bento box Wajima lacquer box 1800 Japanese Maki-e Edo craft.

Antique Japanese fine Wajima lacquered wood Bento food box with Maki-e Matsu and Tsubaki tree by slow flowing pond decoration, nice lacquer work. Medium good conditions, some wear from usage ant time on surface. Immediately usable, nice work of art. (to be handled with care)

Period: 1800 - 1880 Edo - Meiji era

Dimensions: 22 x 15 x 15 cm, weight 0.700 Kg + wrapping.
