Fine Japanese lacquered wood Natsume tea caddy 1900 Maki-e Shyunsai lacquer master

Fine Japanese Natsume tea caddy carved from a single wood block lacquered with fine Maki-e Sasa bamboo tree decoration with silver dots rapresenting new spring rain. Maker name Shyunsai lacquer master. Very good conditions, very light wear marks from usage, complete with protective wood box.

Period: 1900 - 1940

Dimensions: H 7 cm, total weight 0.170 Kg + wrapping
