Japan rural foot wear sketchbook manuscript scroll Sumi Ink 1880 Washi paper

Antique Japan manuscript Makimono scroll sketchbook on Washi paper, free hand drawing Sumi-ink technique. Titled Kodai-Hakimono (ancient footwear). Detailed description of rural japan working class footwear. Signed by Shibata Junzou (柴田順蔵 ). Light wear from time and handling, item is in original conditions as it has been found.

Period: 1880 - 1900  Meiji era (most likley 1880 - 1890)

Dimensions: total L 91  H 17 cm, weight 30 g + wrapping

Conditions:  good, light wear marks from time. Please see photos.
