Antique Japan Sansui Byobu wind screen 1880s Furosaki interior.

Antique Japan Sansui landscape wind screen painting mounted on 2 panels folding screen, made of 2 wood frames and paper. Gold leaf borders, lacquered wood frames. Sansui motif depicting spring and autumn mountain landscape. Short poetical verses on each side. Medium conditions, wear from long use and time. Immediately usable historical item.

Period: 1880 - 1900 Meiji era

Dimensions: total size when opened L 169 H 73 cm, each paper painting 69 x 56 cm, total weight 2.540 Kg + boxing and wrapping.

Conditions: medim good, wear from long usage and time. Solid inner structure. Please see detailed photos.
