Fine Koto harp Japanese string instrument 1900s music hand craft.

Fine Japanese long 13 strings Koto harp with original wood casing and accessory, fine Maki-e lacquer decoration and daisies flowers Moriage-gofun style on Koto surface and Kotoji box, strings in good tension, light wear marks from usage and time, very well preserved. The instrument comes with it's set of 13 wood Kotoji and 3 finger picks nails. Nice wood surface aged with nice character, the instrument need to be considered an historical item to be used with care. Good conditions and sound. Immediately usable with its silk cover and original lacquered wood casing. 

Period: 1900 - 1940

Dimensions: Koto L 182 cm. Protective box 195x30x24 cm. Total weight 11.780 Kg + wrapping
