Antique Japan wind screen Byobu tiger and dragon zen painting Sumi-e ink antique 1700

Antique Japanese 2 panel wind screen Byobu, Zen Sumi-e ink technique hand painting on silk. Tiger and dragon zen paintings signed by master Kano Chikanobu (周延). Wear on surface due to long exposure and time, framed separately or maintained in their original Byobu paper and wood structure. Professional restoration in early 1900. Immediately usable. (additional images available on request)

Period: painted silk from 1700 mid Edo era (wind screen structure from recent restoration 1900s)

Dimensions: total H 94 W 94 cm, each painted silk 35 x 80 cm. Total weight 2 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: good, some wear from exposure visible on surface. panel structure in good conditions. Please see detailed photos.
