Japan bronze Shishi lion-dog statue group lost wax technique 1936 hand craft.

Japanese Shishi lion-dog fight bronze sculpture group with base, lost wax technique craft, painted patina. Dynamic modeling and expressive composition, hammered details. Well preserved with its original wood box reporting date as University graduation gift. Japanese sculpture.

Period:  1936 dated on wood box (諸和十一年) 

Dimensions: H 22 W 29 cm, total weight  5.300 kg + wrapping

Conditions: good, light wear marks from handling and time, please see photos.
