Antique Japan Buddhist bronze temple Bonsho bell 1880 temple

Large Bonsho Japan bronze Temple bronze bell, lost wax technique craft. Big size from Buddhist temple in central Japan Gifu Shiga prefecture, nice patina and design, temple patrons inscription. The bell reports location, donors, Buddhist monk and makers name. 
Nice bronze patina from exposure to elements, some ware from long usage and handling, no fracture, very good sound (please request sound file or open link). Immediately usable, in its original location until recently.
The bell has been rescued from its original location. 

- Period: dated October 1970 (昭和四五年十月)
- Temple name: Zenjozan Zenkakuji 禅定山 善覚寺 
- Temple monk: the 10th chief priest from foundation Shaku Syuken 鐸秀憲 - 第十世住職
 - Donors: 仁木 榮蔵 久恵
- Bell maker: Ouchi Sahei 黄地佐平. Location: 滋賀県愛知郡湖東町 Koto-cho Aichi-gun, Shiga
- Above the lotus flower a prayer to: 南無阿弥陀佛 "Namu Amitabha Buddha"
- Dimensions: bell H 138 cm, Diam at base 78 cm, total weight 450 kg + crate and wrapping
- Conditions:  good, some ware from usage and time, no fracture, very good sound (please request sound file). Please see photos
- Materials: bronze

The bell will be shipped (door to door) in a plywood wood crate on pallet, 5 days handling time, forklift required for handling.
