Antique Japan Tatsu dragon paper scroll Zen temple master art 1800

Antique master Zen painting on paper Sumi-e flying Dragon among thunder clouds. Sumi ink and Fude brush on Washi paper technique. Restored in 1925 with back appraisal by art expert Hanayama Mnetoshi with seal and sign on September 15 1295, reporting Temple name Shory-ji, artist name Zen Monk Soma Miyaze (相馬宮是). Fine hand, ink master, good conditions, some wear on paper surface from time and exposure. All in original conditions as found with (to be handled with care).

Period: 1750 - 1800 Edo era, restored in 1925.

Dimensions: H 204  W 109 cm, Sumi-e surface 150x94 cm. Total weight 0.910 Kg + wrapping.
