Antique Japan Buddhist temple candle stand alter temple 1850 Rosoku-tate craft

Antique Japanese Buddhist candle stand, 15 spikes candle holder, metal smith forged iron craft technique. From old Buddhist temple, base is part of a restoration (not so stable if filled with candles). Medium conditions, oxidation on all surface. Usable in current conditions.

Period: 1850 - 1900 Edo - Meiji

Dimensions: H 84 W 57 cm, total wight 2.840 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: medium good, wear from long usage and time, solid structure, superficial oxidation, not so stable on its stand (originally in place with lower part anchored to the wood floor). Please see photo
