Antique Japan bronze Buddhist temple censer Koro incense 1890 lost wax art

Antique Japanese incense burner Koro bronze lost wax technique, decorated with archaic anthropomorphic motif. Bottom inscription donors name Fukuda Kae (福田ヵエ) from the village of Tawara (central Japan). Some wear and oxidation from usage and time, no fractures, in original conditions as found, immediately usable.

Period: 1890 - 1920 Miji - Taisho era

Dimensions: W 11.5 H 14 cm, total weight  0.910 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: medium good, some wear marks from long usage and time, bronze oxidation . Please see photos.
